PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JAMIE SCHLOREDT
SACRAMENTO STATE
5-7 • JR • C • WOODLAND, CA

Schloredt helped lead the Hornets to a four-game sweep of Santa Clara, hitting .538 (7x13) with two HRs and four RBI. She also scored four runs and recorded one double and one triple. Schloredt drew to walks to record a .600 OBA (9x15), and finished the series with a 1.231 SLG%. Schloredt recorded multi-hit games in three contests and also had an RBI in 3-of-4 games against the Broncos. Went 1x3 with a HR in game one’s 3-2 win. In game two Saturday, Schloredt was 2x4 with a double, triple, runs scored and RBI. On Sunday, she went a combined 4x6 with a HR, two RBI and two runs scored, as the Hornets won 2-0 and 9-0. The HRs were the 10th and 11th of the season for Schloredt, setting a new school season record and ranking tied for first in the PCSC.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
MELISSA DYKEMA
LOYOLA MARYMOUNT

Dykema tossed a pair of two-hit shutouts to earn both of Loyola Marymount’s wins in the four-game series at Portland State last weekend. She pitched the second game of both twinbills to give the Lions a split with 5-0 and 1-0 wins. Dykema worked a combined 14.0 innings, allowing four hits and four walks and striking out two. She held Viking hitters to a .085 batting average. In her first start of the series on Saturday, Dykema pitched 5.1 innings of no-hit ball before her no-hit bid was broken. In game two on Sunday, Dykema stranded three Viking runners on third base in the 1-0 victory. For the season, Dykema is 14-7 with a 2.19 ERA in 23 appearances, including 21 starts.

Hit .571 (8x14) with two RBI and was 3x3 in SBs against San Diego.

Brandi Scoggins, Portland State (SO, OF/DP): Went 2x8 (.250) and drew two walks for a .400 OBA in the four-game series versus Loyola Marymount.

Chelsie Tysdal, Loyola Marymount (JR, C/DP):
Hit .500 (4x8), with a HR and two RBI, recorded a .667 OBA and scored four of the Lions’ six runs in the four-game series at Portland State.

Megan Galloway, Saint Mary’s (SR, RHP):
Was 2-0, with one save, and a 0.93 ERA (15.0 IP, 2 ER) in three appearances, including two starts.

Mandy Hill, Portland State (SR, RHP): Went 2-1 with a 1.31 ERA (16.0 IP, 3 ER) in three starts against Loyola Marymount ... Struck out 15 while walking one.

Kayla Meeks, Sacramento State (JR, RHP): 1-0 with a 1.08 ERA (13.0 IP, 2 ER) in two starts against Santa Clara.
