SR Tiffany Pagano collected four of LMU’s five victories last week, allowing just 10 hits and one earned run while striking out 41 in 28 IP ... Pagano is 12-4 on the season, winning 10 or more games for four straight seasons ... She picked up her 60th career victory and 30th career shutout this week ... SO Christine Foley extended her hitting streak to 15 games, the longest on the team and in the PCSC this season ... Foley hit a walk-off, two-run home run on Sunday to lift the Lions to a 2-0 win over Illinois-Chicago.

Despite playing five ranked opponents (Fresno State, DePaul, Houston, Ohio State and Oklahoma) and another receiving votes (Cal) over their last nine games, Sacramento State will carry a 14-11 record into this week ... After playing 21 straight games away from its home field, Sacramento State finally returns home to the friendly confines of Shea Stadium this week against Wisconsin (Wednesday, March 19, 1 p.m.) and Pacific (Friday, March 21, 1 p.m.) ... Sacramento State has hit 22 HRs over its first 25 games, 10 shy of the program record for most HRs in a season (32, set in 2006) ... The 22 HRs are already the third best mark in school history ... The Hornets’ 16 hits against Ohio State were the most against Buckeye pitching in a single game since 1999 ... Sacramento State has scored at least 13 runs four times this season, that sets the program’s Div. I record for games with at least 13 runs in a single season.

The five-game win streak matches the longest in the PCSC this season, set by Sacramento State, from Feb. 27-March 1, and the current streak by Loyola Marymount ... SR RHP Megan Galloway threw the Gaels’ first shutout of the year, in a 9-0 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday (6.0 IP, 5 H, 0 BB, 2 SO) ... The Gaels are 8-1 this season when scoring in the first inning.
The Toreros snapped a four-game losing skid, matching their longest of the season, with a doubleheader sweep of Bucknell, 5-3 and 7-0, on Sunday in San Diego ... San Diego is 9-1 when leading after five innings ... The Toreros are 6-2 when scoring first ... San Diego’s lone game this week was at crosstown rival and No. 25 (NFCA) San Diego State on Tuesday.
Santa Clara scored eight runs against No. 1 Arizona State in the first game of a double-header on Saturday, which was the most anyone has scored on them all season ... Maggie Godfrey hit her fourth HR of the season, a grand-slam to cap off a five run inning against Arizona State ... Noelani Ho’opi’i extended her team leading BA to .310.
