Hill (6-7) scattered seven hits and walked two, while striking out two in going the distance to earn the decision.
Hill, 2-for-2 at the plate, was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the third inning to make it 2-0. She then added a two-out RBI single in the third inning to extend the lead to 3-0.
Sophomore first baseman Jana Rae Slayton homered in the contest for
Senior right-hander Alicia Cook (5-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks, while striking out four, in suffering the loss.
Freshman shortstop Arielle Wiser and Slayton also both went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Vikings.
