Scoggins went 7-for-13 at the plate, to post a .538 batting average, including four doubles, one home run and four RBI to help Mountain Division-leading Portland State to a four-game sweep at Weber State. In addition, Scoggins scored eight runs and stole two bases in the series. With the four doubles, Scoggins became the school’s all-time leader in career doubles. In the series opener, Scoggins went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and a RBI in the 6-3 win. She followed by going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the 11-1, five-inning win, in the nightcap. In Saturday’s first game, Scoggins scored three times as the Vikings won 14-6. For the season, Scoggins is batting a team-leading .360, including 14 doubles, and 19 RBI. Her 14 doubles are tied for second in the PCSC.
