Who was the "surprise" team in the PCSC in 2010?

Softball Mountain Division Pitcher of the Week

Heather Bacon, UVU

Posted a 2-0 record, and notched one save, and had a 0.55 ERA in three appearances, including two starts, against Idaho State last weekend. Allowed three runs, one earned, on 10 hits and one walk, while striking out eight, in 12 2/3 innings. She earned her save in dramatic fashion, recording two consecutive groundouts, with the tying run on second, including coaxing PCSC-batting leader Taylor Marchione to ground out to second to end the game. Bacon then worked a complete-game, four-hitter in an 11-1 win in Saturday’s nightcap. She allowed four hits and walked none as the Bengals scored one unearned run. Bacon then got the start in the series-finale, allowing two runs, one earned, on six hits and one walk, in going the distance in the 5-2 win. For the season, Bacon is 5-4 with a 4.76 ERA in 22 appearances, including 16 starts.
